Adopt-A-Plane Program
Adopt-A-Plane – Through this unique program, you can ensure ongoing care, maintenance and security of a specific aircraft. Whether an individual, family, company or group, you can take responsibility for an historic airplane through an annual contribution or permanent endowment dedicated toward the costs of caring for “your” plane. The adopter receives a photo and history of the aircraft and is invited to visit the Museum and receive a personal briefing on that plane from the Museum Curator. Throughout the year of adoption a plaque is posted near the plane identifying the benefactor; in the case of an endowment the plaque is established in perpetuity.
Museum Expansion Project
Museum Expansion Project – To meet the demand for educational programming and to provide improved access to Canada’s aviation heritage, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum is constructing a new wing that will add two state-of-the-art classrooms fitted for universal access and a hi-tech, multi-purpose auditorium. A greatly expanded lobby will enhance the visitor experience, improving access to services. The Canada Aviation and Space Museum invites potential sponsors and donors to participate in this dynamic expansion program.
Take Your Seat
Take Your Seat – You may wish to honour a loved one or celebrate a milestone by “adopting” a seat in the new memorial auditorium. Your donation will create a long-lasting connection with Canada’s aviation heritage.
You (or a family member, colleague or friend you wish to memorialize) can be part of the exciting new Learning Centre in perpetuity* by donating $1,000 to name a seat. (You have the option of making 10 monthly contributions of $100.00.) *Note: Names are inscribed permanently, for the life of the current seats.

Restoration Fund
Take part in preserving historic aircraft by supporting the Restoration Fund. Museum staff and volunteers are completing restoration of the Travel Air 2000 and the Avro Avian. Project NorthStar is well under way and requires additional donations. The next major project is the restoration of the Bristol Beaufighter. The intention is to restore this aircraft in the colours of 404 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force, circa late 1944.
