Science and Tech SOIRÉE
The Soirée captures the excitement and magic of science and technology and is a great opportunity to network with the Ottawa-Gatineau area business, high tech, government and academic communities. But most important it supports the cause of connecting youth to science. This year the Soirée funds raised will support youth at the museum. Save the date now for our 2012 Science and Tech SOIRÉE – Thursday, April 19th, 2012!

Railway Restoration Fund
You can share your passion for these historic locomotives and trains by supporting the Railway Restoration Fund. The current major project is the restoration of the CN40. Originally built in 1872 in Portland, Maine as a Grand Trunk 4-4-0, the CN40 has had many lives — and has been much altered along the way. Acquired in 1967, it now sits proudly at the head of the long track of locomotives and rail cars in our reserve collection.
